SUMMARY: The Director of UKG Pro Implementation will lead the implementation of UKG Pro solutions for clients, ensuring the successful delivery of projects from initiation to completion. This role requires strong leadership, project management, and deep technical expertise in HCM (Human Capital Management) systems, with a focus on UKG Pro. The Director will manage a team of consultants and project managers, build strong client relationships, and ensure the smooth integration of UKG Pro solutions, focusing on client satisfaction and business outcomes.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead, mentor, and manage a team of UKG Pro consultants and project managers, ensuring they have the tools and resources needed to execute implementations effectively.
Provide guidance and support in the development of team members’ skills and career growth.
Foster a collaborative environment and promote knowledge-sharing within the team.
Serve as the main point of contact for clients throughout the UKG Pro implementation process, from initial project scoping to post-implementation support.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure their expectations are met and exceeded.
Understand client needs and business objectives to provide tailored UKG Pro solutions that drive operational efficiency and business success.
Oversee the full lifecycle of UKG Pro implementations, including scoping, planning, execution, and post-implementation review.
Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and external stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
Provide technical oversight and guidance to Consultants on data mapping, conversion strategies, and integration testing.
Offer strategic insights and recommendations to improve client processes, leveraging UKG Pro’s functionality.
Oversee quality control efforts, ensuring that the deliverables meet client requirements, industry best practices, and compliance standards.
Review project deliverables, providing feedback and improvements to ensure high-quality results.
Conduct post-implementation reviews to gather feedback, identify areas for improvement, and implement process improvements for future projects.
Provide final status reports to clients, outlining successes, challenges, and next steps post-implementation.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in HCM system implementation, with at least 5 years specifically focused on UKG Pro or other enterprise HR/payroll systems.
Proven experience managing and leading teams through complex HCM solution implementations.
Strong background in managing data conversions, system integrations, and configuring HR technology platforms.
Experience managing large-scale, cross-functional projects, including delivering projects on time and within budget.
SKILLS:
Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team of consultants to success.
Strong project management skills, including experience with project management software (e.g., MS Project, JIRA).
Ability to think strategically and translate business needs into technical solutions.
Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
Solid understanding of UKG Pro functionality, including HR, payroll, talent management, and workforce management capabilities.
In-depth understanding of HR business processes, including payroll, benefits, compliance, and data security requirements.
Strong problem-solving abilities, with a track record of resolving issues and ensuring project success under challenging circumstances.
Ability to analyze and synthesize complex data and provide actionable insights to clients and team members.
Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with senior client stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor.
Expertise in managing client expectations, providing solutions, and ensuring client satisfaction throughout the implementation process.
Familiarity with UKG Pro tools, including configuration, integrations, and reporting features, is highly preferred.
EDUCATION:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Information Technology, or a related field.
Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, UKG Pro certification) are a plus.
